In the middle of the studio, the four of them stare awkwardly at each other. Suddenly, Sujin raises her hand high in the air.
“How about a game where Haneul confesses first? Taeyo, you ready for this?”
Haneul claps her hands together, looking utterly thrown.
“Me? What should I confess?”
Jimin grins and winks.
“It’s the love triangle game! No faking, only honesty allowed.”
Taeyo shrugs, trying to sound cool.
“Bring it on. Haneul, just be real with me.”
Sujin puffs her cheeks and pokes fun.
“Taeyo, don’t cry if she tells the truth, okay?”
Haneul takes a deep breath.
“Fine. What’s the question?”
Jimin spins a virtual roulette on his phone. The screen reads, ‘Who caught your attention most today?’
For a second, all four glance at each other.
Haneul hesitates, then looks at Taeyo.
“Today… I think it was Taeyo who got on my mind the most.”
There’s a stunned silence before Sujin breaks into a dramatic ‘Congratulations!’ fanfare.
Taeyo turns away, then tosses a purposely cheesy comment over his shoulder.
“Guess my irresistible charm can’t be hidden!”
Suddenly, Wooseok bursts into the room.
“Wait—still playing the triangle game? Seriously?”
Everyone freezes. Sujin jumps up.
“Wooseok, sit down right now!”
Just then, the manager’s voice blasts from the speaker.
“Next mission! ‘Switch Partner Dance Battle!’ You’ll get your partner at random—on the spot.”
All four shout, “What?!” at once.
Jimin whispers, “Is it gonna be Haneul and Taeyo again?”
Haneul blushes. Taeyo sneaks a look at her.
Sujin fires off the last word.
“You two are totally doomed for a real confession if you end up together again!”
Now all eyes are on Haneul and Taeyo. They try to avoid each other’s gaze, but end up locking eyes—and start giggling.
Suddenly, the manager opens the door. “Time for partner drawing. Line up!”
The four line up, nerves and hopes tangled, wondering who they’ll end up with—and what new mix-ups or butterflies are waiting just around the corner.
