As soon as Haneul walks into the practice room, she senses something’s off.
Jimin greets her with a wide grin.
“You and me as partners today? Guess we get to watch Taeo’s grumpy face all practice.”
Haneul chuckles, shooting a sideways glance at Taeo. Across the room, he’s paired up with another trainee—but his eyes keep drifting back to Haneul.
The partner switch mission begins. Haneul and Jimin try to nail their choreography, but Haneul finds it oddly hard to focus.
Jimin leans in and whispers,
“Taeo can’t stop looking at you. Is this your own drama episode? I’m loving it.”
Haneul’s cheeks warm.
“No, we’re just good partners. That’s all.”
Suddenly, Taeo mixes up a dance step and bumps into his partner. Laughter explodes around the room. Taeo flushes and glances at Haneul, embarrassed.
Sujin jumps in, teasing,
“Taeo, are you sulking because your partner isn’t Haneul today?”
Haneul looks away, trying to hide her smile. Jimin only stirs the pot.
“We’re a solid team, Haneul. But your heart’s obviously somewhere else, huh?”
Haneul waves her off, still laughing. Meanwhile, Taeo watches Haneul quietly from across the room, arms crossed.
Just as the announcement for the next mission begins, the manager walks in.
“After today’s practice, you’ll switch partners again! Tomorrow, it’s totally random.”
Everyone cheers, but both Haneul and Taeo suddenly feel a strange blend of tension and anticipation.
As the nervous excitement lingers, Haneul can’t help but wonder—will Taeo reach out to her tonight?
