Sky stood in the hallway, awkwardly holding two notes, looking like the star of a cheesy drama. Wooseok was the first to step up.
“Sky, can we talk for a sec?” His smile was warm and maybe a little too charming.
Taeyo slid over, clearly not loving the situation.
“I have something to say too, Sky,” Taeyo said, his voice just a bit shaky for once.
Soojin folded her arms and grinned. “Oh wow, love triangle much? Should I be filming this for content?” Jimin chimed in, dramatically pretending to hold up an invisible camera.
Sky was frozen between the two guys, both suddenly way too serious.
Wooseok started quietly, “Honestly, you were all I could focus on during the selfie mission. Your smile made my day.”
Sky’s cheeks turned pink. Taeyo let out a sigh and stepped closer.
“I need to say something too. I totally hated watching you do that mission with Wooseok. I got… jealous,” he blurted out.
Now Sky’s heart was pounding like a second-rate melodrama. Wooseok’s sweet confession, Taeyo’s jealous honesty—why did both sound so real?
Soojin laughed and nudged her. “Time to pick, main character! Whose speech do you wanna hear first?”
Sky glanced between them, tongue-tied. One felt safe like an old friend. The other made her ridiculously nervous for no good reason.
“Um… I honestly don’t know. Both of you are making it really hard,” she mumbled.
Jimin dramatically started a countdown. “You have three seconds! Three, two, one—”
But Sky just stood there, not choosing. The boys stared at her, and an awkward silence filled the hallway.
Suddenly, her phone buzzed. Notification: New partner drawing for the next mission.
Everyone gawked at the screen.
“No way. We’re switching again?” Wooseok muttered, Taeyo’s mouth hanging open.
Sky had to hurry to the practice room, still not knowing whose feelings she’d confront first. The three left behind looked at each other, lost for words.
And Sky? Her heart was a total mess.
